I’m two years old!!

Well, ok I’m not two years old, but Tales of a Boundary Ninja is (and don’t think I can’t hear you saying “but sometimes you act like a two year old.” :)) As you can see below, I’m getting a little more traffic then when I stared the blog. I have 153  blog followers at last count, all of whom I am very grateful for.  (153 looks really impressive until you look at Crazy as a Coconut, What a Shrink Thinks, or Therapy Tales. So I try not to look too often. Content yes, follower count, no! :)). Actually, I am grateful to everyone who has come by to read what I have to say. I still find it a bit shocking that people want to read what I write (being a technical writer I am used to people NOT wanting to read what I write. :D). I am especially thankful for those of you comment. This community has been so welcoming and supportive.  I deeply value our relationships and the support and insight you all provide. If you read regularly, but don’t comment, I would love to have you introduce yourself, if it feels safe and have a chance to get to know you. But either way, I am delighted that you spend some of your time with me.

Writing this blog has been an incredible experience and very fulfilling. I have so appreciated the encouragement I have received both in the comments and through email. You all help me to wrest meaning and purpose out of the abuse, and turn to good the evil that was done to me. It is a precious gift and one I cherish.

Congratulations! If it makes you feel any better, while we have about the same number of followers, your worst month ever is only 400 less than my best month ever and similar to my average month. People find me boring! Ah well… You on the other hand are fascinating. 🙂

Here’s to many more posts from the wonderful AG!

Thanks Cat! You have been such a wonderful part of this whole experience for me and your traffic is serious proof that people do NOT know what they are missing! I have gained so much insight, as well as a sense of being understood, from reading your blog. I look forward to traveling further with you. 🙂 xx AG

You are kind! I will admit that at the moment I’m not sure that I want any more traffic… I may have just over reacted to discovering that someone who publishes pornography followed my blog.

Just read that post Cat and can understand your upset. I am not in the least comfortable with pornography and completely understand why you find it upsetting. ((( ))) and we’re both up either too early or too late! 🙂

      Hi Noctural,
Thanks for breaking your silence. 🙂 Sorry to take so long in replying, came down with a sinus infection and was waylaid for a few days, which also didn’t help my already insane work schedule. Didn’t mean to leave you hanging, since you were brave enough to leap. Thank you for the kind words and I hope to be hearing more from you. 🙂 ~ AG

Congrats AG. This reflects that you are a source of inspiration for many (myself included), you have a true gift with the written word, eloquently articulating a process that is very difficult to understand, let alone describe; very well deserved.

      LB,
Thank you so much. I must admit that it’s quite a reach to see myself as inspirational (you all need to see me in the morning or better yet, at the end of a long day :)) but I do appreciate you saying it. I am very glad that you have found strength from my writing. ~ AG

(((GE))) You say the nicest things. 🙂 But where it comes to courage, I will have to take the backseat to you. You have been forging ahead with unspeakable courage in the face of such terrible pain since I have known you. It has been a joy to watch you grow and heal. I’m very grateful you found my blog. xx AG

      XXX,
I totally understand the difficulties with breathing! I have a counted cross stitch I made and all it says is “Breathe” that hangs on my office wall. I am very happy that I have been of help in that arena. I hope it continues to get easier as you go forward. xx AG

    Congratulations AG!

I follow each and every little thing that comes up on your blog: posts, comments, etc. I have found it so helpful and informative and you are so brave and insightful. I marvel at your strength and honesty in publishing all of the details of your sessions, no matter how personal! I am amazed that you don’t shy away from the hard stuff! Therapy can be so painful, brutal and overwhelming while at the same time being incredibly healing and transformative and you articulate that experience so well.

    Keep up the good work!

      DBS,
Have to laugh, when I read this I thought “hmm, maybe I’ve been too open?” 🙂 Thank you so much for what you said, I am very moved that you see me that way. I have very much appreciated you shaing your insights both here and at psychcafe; I love that you see both sides of therapy, both the difficulty of it and how transforming it can be. Thank you for being a part of my blog, xx AG

And the feeling is totally mutual, my dear, because I couldn’t think of a better when to describe you than wonderful, caring and deserving of all the love there is to give. Thanks for coming by for my birthday. 🙂 love always, AG
