Holy Water by Big and Rich

I was listening to an OLD playlist on Itunes that I haven’t listened to in quite some time, and a song I had forgotten about popped up. It’s an incredibly powerful and moving song about healing from sexual abuse and rape, one that meant a great deal to me when I was in a very dark passage in my healing. It helped me remember that there is power,  light and love that is untouched by evil, that will always outshine the darkest of deeds. I needed to be reminded of that my last session, so honestly, I don’t think it’s an accident I ran across this song again right now. I thought I would share it in case it resonated with anyone else. I hope it speaks to you if it’s something you need to hear.

I used to listen to that song on repeat circa 2008. It meant so much to me.

      Fumbling,
Thanks for letting me know I wasn’t the only one. And yeah, I spent some time with that one on repeat. 🙂 xx AG

What a beautiful song. AG we need your magical power to stop the snow down here in the South! Or at least send us a snow plow. 🙂

    Ann,
My deepest apologies but if I had magical powers, I’d be using them at home. We have, literally, a nine foot high pile of snow at the end of our driveway and my back deck is full up to the railings. 🙂 We also have not been out of single digit temps for about three weeks. Seriously, I’m starting to wonder if we moved to the Artic circle when I wasn’t paying attention. 😀 OTHO, we’re used to this stuff and have the equipment to deal with it, so you do have my very deep sympathies!!

Really glad you liked the song! Sending love and hopes of heat, AG
