A Little Friday Silliness and Possible Absence

This is probably not a bad reflection of my attitude about medications as well as being very funny! Enjoy.

Is it Peace or is it Prozac? by Cheryl Wheeler

And another good one by her, which highlights the absurdity of how we think about ourselves.

Unworthy

NOTE: I am heading off on a two week vacation on Sunday for some sun, rest, relaxation, and hopefully lots of reading. My Kindle is brimming over with all kinds of treats. Having never been a vacationing blogger before, I am not sure how much it will affect my posting here, but just in case, didn’t want to worry anyone if I end up not being very active. Take good care all and see you soon!

Really enjoyed Cheryl’s songs. She made me smile and it wasn’t prozac but her humor and her understanding. I hope you have a great time off. Tess

      Tess,
So glad you enjoyed them. I like a lot of Cheryl Wheeler’s music. Her funny stuff is really funny, but her serious stuff can be really moving. And thanks, we are have a great time! 🙂

“Unworthy” was so hysterical. I listened to it a couple times over. The crazy thing is, I believe I’ve told myself at on time or another that I should do all the things she listed. Including learn to read, speak, and write French. Sometimes I feel obscurely guilty about that. . .

      Bluebleakember,
Oh yes, that sense of obscure guilt. The line that always hits me is “no matter what I’m doing I should certainly be dong something else.” I love that the song just shows the absurdity of our thinking. So glad you liked it.

I’m looking forward to watching both of those … but in the mean time, enjoy your vacation!

Sun at this point would be fabulous!
